This Famars 12 Gauge side-by-side is an Italian best sidelock: tight scroll and border engraving, disc-set strikers, double triggers with a hinged front trigger, tang safety, and automatic ejectors. 27 1/2" barrels choked Modified and Modified. 2 3/4" chambers.

The stock is checkered walnut with a straight grip, carved drop points, and nicely figured wood. Dimensions: 14 1/2" LOP, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, 5 mm cast-off at the toe, 5 lbs 14 oz.

Metal surfaces rate excellent, with some light handling marks to the wood. Housed in the maker’s case with a full set of pajamas. The case interior is distressed: top panel missing and left latch absent.
