Folding ladder rear sight, fixed blade front sight. Rifled model. Good to very good overall condition with finish wear and losses. From a vintage Parker Hale catalog "1861 Enfield Musketoon / Artillery carbine, two band. Calibre .577" Barrel length 24" Overall length 40.25" Weight 7 lbs 8 ozs (approx.). Stock: seasoned walnut with solid brass furniture. Barrel: 3 grooves of progressive depth (.008" deeper at breech than muzzle), 1 in 48" twist, cold forged.
