Rose & Scroll engraved side locks and receiver. Highly figured oil finished walnut stocks with checkered butt. Top rib marked with James Purdey trademark and address. Inlaid in Gold #1 at top lever, breech and forearm. Comes housed in Oak & leather partitioned travel trunk case with cleaning accessories. 14 1/2" LOP 1 1/2" DAC 2" DAH Cast off 5mm 6 lbs 3 oz LB .023 RB .026. Condition , very fine as English refreshed with 99% barrel finish with brilliant bores. Wood is very fine with good checkering and minute impressions. Mechanically fine Mfd 1923 Barrel 28 C&R
